Over break a lot of us set out to make a lot of progress. We accomplished some things for the game, but didn't do as much as we had hoped. A lot of us were in situations where we couldn't always work (lack of internet, travelling, etc). The art team (now lead by Healthy) worked on environmental models to spread throughout the islands. These are an array of ruins for players to run around in, also making ground combat more interesting. The Programming team wasn't quite as productive, but managed to put out a few fires to make the game more playable. Overall, programmers are still struggling with replicating features over networking.
Despite the slow break, we're excited for the new quarter, and look forward to keeping our noses to the grindstone. Lots of late nights ahead, and we're confident that we'll produce a great beta this quarter. Ruins01 by banditofernando on Sketchfab
